RECOGNITIONS
The Marcus High School and Hebron High School Bands were recognized for their exemplary performance at the 2023 6A UIL State Marching Contest.
The Arbor Creek Middle School Honors Band and Marcus High School Wind Symphony Group were recognized for their participation in the prestigious Midwest Clinic, an international band and orchestra conference.
SUPERINTENDENT UPDATE
Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp began her update by thanking the Board of Trustees. Students from Lewisville High School joined her to share their thanks, and give each Board Member a gift. Dr. Rapp also discussed her recent campus visits, results from our recent communication efforts, a pulse check survey participation update and more.
PUBLIC COMMENT: LEWISVILLE ISD STAKEHOLDERS
LISD Council of PTAs President Jennifer Perry gave her thanks to the Board of Trustees on behalf of the Council of PTAs organization.

Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp presented the Monthly Financial Reports including the Bond Reports and the Monthly Investment Summaries. Dr. Rapp also provided updates on the 2023 Bond Program and the 88th Legislative Session. Details

Board Member Sheila P. Taylor provided an update on the Facility Naming Committee. The committee proposed the naming of the Lewisville High School Field House after former Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Ronnie Gage and the naming of the Marcus High School Track after former Head Cross Country and Track Coach Steven Edward Telaneus. ACTION ITEMS
The Board approved an order authorizing the issuance of unlimited tax school building bonds and appointing a pricing officer to approve the sale of the bonds. Details
