Camey Elementary’s Moeller Named The Colony Chamber of Commerce/DATCU Credit Union March Student of the Month
Moeller honored at monthly leadership luncheon.
Camey Elementary fifth grader Madison Moeller has been selected as The Colony Chamber of Commerce/DATCU Credit Union March Student of the Month – the seventh honoree of the 2019-2020 school year.
Moeller is known as everything a Camey Cobra should be and more. She is a kind and caring person to everyone she meets, dedicated to every commitment and is always striving to do the best she can. Besides excelling in the classroom, one of Moeller’s best qualities is her spirit – in school and on the softball field. She always has either a smile on her face, a look of determination or a little bit of both. It is for these reasons and more she has been selected as the March Student of the Month.
“I feel honored to be named Student of the Month out of so many great students,” Moeller said. “I try to always follow our Camey Pride rules and especially help others when I can.”
Moeller accepted the award, which is sponsored by DATCU Credit Union, on March 12 at the Chamber’s monthly leadership luncheon at The Colony City Hall Annex. DATCU Community Relations Coordinator Mary Jacoby and the Chamber’s Board Chairman Gary Briggs made the presentation.
Moeller was joined at the event by her parents, David and Jennifer, and CES Counselor Brenda Schwartz.
