The Board approved the 2023-2024 Administrative Contract Recommendations for School Year 2023-24. Details
RECOGNITIONS
Lewisville High School senior Ileah Brown was recognized for earning the silver medal in the 2023 UIL Girls Wrestling State Championship Tournament.
Garden Ridge Elementary was recognized by Solution Tree for their success in raising student achievement due to the implementation of the Professional Learning Communities at Work process.
69 high school band, choir and orchestra students from across the district were recognized for earning the 2023 Texas Music Educator Association All-State Musician distinction.
Hebron High School A Cappella Choir and the Hebron Wind Ensemble were recognized for earning best-in-state musical distinctions through the TMEA Honor Ensemble submission process.
Flower Mound High School’s Wind Ensemble was recognized for earning best-in-state musical distinctions through the TMEA Honor Ensemble submission process. The FMHS Band was also recognized for winning the prestigious Sudler Flag from the John Philip Sousa Foundation. The honor was bestowed upon only two bands in the nation this year for outstanding musical accomplishments across all levels of a band organization.
Flower Mound High School’s Head Band Director Brent Biskup and Marcus High School’s UIL Mathematics Coach David Pike were recognized for receiving the UIL Sponsor Excellence Award. This award is given to only 15 sponsors per year, and we are proud to have 2 of these award winners in our district!
