The Lewisville Independent School District Board of Trustees met for the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Monday, April 8th.

Students from the STEM Academy at Memorial Elementary and Lakeland Elementary led the Pledge of Allegiance.

RECOGNITIONS
The FMHS boys swim team was recognized for their performance in the 2024 UIL State Swimming and Diving Meet. Four students received the bronze medal for the 200-yard medley relay, and the team placed 8th overall.

60 high school band, choir and orchestra students from across the district were recognized for earning the 2024 Texas Music Educator Association All-State Musician distinction. See photos HERE.

SUPERINTENDENT UPDATE
As a part of her update Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp discussed recent student and community advisory committee progress, metrics from recent communication efforts, and the upcoming bond election.
