LHS Harmon Celebrates 10 Years

School opened its doors nearly a decade ago.

On Nov. 5, Lewisville High School Harmon celebrated its 10-year anniversary. The campus hosted a special, socially-distanced celebration on its football field. Special guests included the school's namesake Ben Harmon and his wife Juanita as well as first-ever principal and current LISD Chief of High Schools Andy Plunkett, Executive Director of Student Support Services Jeffrey Kajs, Lewisville High School Principal Jim Baker and Lewisville High School Killough Principal Kyndra Tyler.

The celebration included performances by LHS Cheer, LHS Drumline, the Farmerettes and a TikTok dance-off by students and staff. Surprise gifts were presented to Harmon, Plunkett and current LHS Harmon Principal Joi Cartmill. The event concluded with the LHS school song and fight song.
