Hebron 9 Family Notice | Nov. 5

Hebron 9 Families,

I believe it is important to keep you informed about situations on our campus. Today, Hebron 9 received a vague, but concerning, phone call in which threatening remarks were made. Hebron 9 administration immediately reported the phone call to the Carrollton Police Department who fully investigated the situation. CPD determined the phone call was not credible and there was no threat to our campus.

I am so grateful to the Hebron 9 staff who reached out to our administration and law enforcement to report this situation. They did exactly what they were supposed to do, which is if you see something, say something

I want to emphasize how important it is for students, staff, parents and community members to reach out to the police or the campus when something suspicious is heard or seen. Parents, please stress to your child the severity of making threatening statements to anyone in any way. We always, ALWAYS take these situations seriously and investigate them fully.

I want to assure you the safety of your students and our staff members are always our top priority. Thank you for being our partner in the education of your children, and for your continued support of our campus.
