Flower Mound 9 student Caroline Guidroz, teacher Mrs. Greenlaw and FM9 were all recognized at the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce's luncheon held at the Lantana Golf Club on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
Student of the Month – Caroline Guidroz
Caroline Guidroz is a freshman at Flower Mound 9th Grade Campus, and she’s super excited to be involved in so many activities. She’s a proud member of the drill team and serves on the student council, where she loves helping make her school community lively and decorated. Outside of school, she’s active in her church and enjoys giving back however she can. Being considered for this award means a lot to her, and she can’t wait to keep learning, growing, and making a positive impact.
Teacher of the Month – Angie Greenlaw
Mrs. Greenlaw has been teaching in Lewisville ISD for 25 years and currently teaches English at Flower Mound 9th Grade Campus. She’s a proud mother of four young men who graduated from Marcus High School and Flower Mound High School. She’s passionate about restorative practices and project-based learning, and she loves building relationships with students and helping them raise their confidence in writing, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

Flower Mound 9th Grade Campus is the first step in a four-year experience at Flower Mound High School, a 6-A comprehensive public high school. During their year at FM9, students engage in a rigorous academic curriculum in Math, Social Studies, English Language Arts, and Science. Additionally, students have the opportunity to participate in Athletics, Fine Arts, or other extracurricular activities. Our current 9th grade class of 884 students is an outstanding representation of their parents, community, and our school culture.
