Flower Mound Community:
It is with mixed emotions that I share with you I am announcing my retirement after eight years as principal and a total of seventeen years as a Flower Mound Jaguar. After 33 years in education and much soul searching, I believe it is time for the next chapter. I look forward to finishing out the school year on a strong note, and ushering out one final graduating class.
I want to express to everyone how truly blessed and thankful I am to have been a part of the Lewisville ISD family. It has been my sincere pleasure to serve this community. FMHS is an exceptional school with a highly dedicated and professional faculty/staff. I take great comfort in knowing that I am leaving your children in the best care possible, where they will continue to learn and grow. We love our kids and celebrate their success and accomplishments as much as you do.
I appreciate the faith and support you have shown me these years. I know LISD will identify an outstanding educational leader to take over the reins at FMHS, one who will continue the tremendous traditions we’ve established. Please know that I will continue to follow and cheer on FMHS – as we always say, Once a Jaguar, always a Jaguar!
My sincere gratitude,
Flower Mound High School
