Kicking off 2022-23: FMHS Feeder Pep Rally
Lewisville ISD welcomed back the Flower Mound feeder schools in preparation for the 2022-23 school year by hosting a faculty and staff pep rally at the Flower Mound High School arena on Tuesday.
13 schools were in attendance, filling the majority of the FMHS basketball arena with faculty and staff wearing their school shirts. The FMHS feeder pattern includes: FMHS, Flower Mound ninth grade campus, Forestwood MS, McKamy MS, Shadow Ridge MS, Donald ES, Forest Vista ES, Garden Ridge ES, Liberty ES, Old Settlers ES, Wellington ES, Bluebonnet ES, and TECC-West. District leadership and administration also filled the sidelines of the FMHS arena.
Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp and FMHS principal Chad Russell addressed the crowd while Flower Mound High School’s band, cheerleaders, Rosettes drill team and color guard provided school spirit and performances throughout the event.
FMHS assistant principal Phillip Humphries served as the emcee for the pep rally and held feeder pattern competitions where select teachers and campus administrators participated in FMHS trivia and other games at center court.
