All students are encouraged to participate in the 28th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Contest for Art, Essay, and Photography. This is an opportunity for students to learn more about Dr. King’s Legacy and possibly win prize money.
Eligible Participants: All Southern Denton County Students in Grades 4-12 Requirements: All entries must relate to Dr. King’s ideals, philosophy, and principles.
The theme this year is A Beloved Community: Justice for All.
Deadline is Friday December 11, 2020.
This will culminate with a wonderful event celebrating Dr. King and his legacy at Marcus High School on Monday, January 18, 2021. The events details will be decided later due to COVID.
