FMS Cheer is looking forward to the 2020/2021 school year. Cheer supports school spirit, cheers on FMS Sports teams and gets many opportunities to do fun things both in and out of school. Cheer also counts as your PE credit in 8th grade. Its a great way to make new friends and prepare for Cheer or Rosettes in high school.
If anyone has a cheer applications to turn in, please deliver that to Mrs Rose in Room 418, before the end of the day today.
And, if you're interested but haven't picked up an application yet, please stop by and see Mrs Rose today.

Did you know that Heart Disease is the Number 1 killer of women?
February is American Heart Month. Forestwood is joining forces with the American Heart Association to get the word out and help the women live long and healthy lives. It’s called Go Red for Women.
Show your support by
- Taking the Hands Only CPR class on Thursday, February 13th in the Library –Sign-up sheet is outside Nurse Jane’s office.
- Wearing red on Valentine’s Day, Friday February 14th. We’ll take a picture of all those wearing red.
- Donating to the American Heart Association – See Nurse Jane to make a donation or purchase pins and t-shirts.
- Visiting the American Heart Association website for information on heart healthy lifestyles
Don’t forget……Go Red for Women!
Student Council will be selling Candy Grams this week before school in the foyer. You can buy one Candy Gram for 50 cents or 3 for a dollar. This is first come, first serve. Once we sell out, we're done. Make sure to know the ELA teacher of the person you are surprising. Pay it forward too - buy a candy gram for someone outside of your circle of friends. #characterstrong
