Hey Falcons,

FMS Cheer is looking forward to the 2020/2021 school year. Cheer supports school spirit, cheers on FMS Sports teams and gets many opportunities to do fun things both in and out of school. Cheer also counts as your PE credit in 8th grade. Its a great way to make new friends and prepare for Cheer or Rosettes in high school.

If anyone has a cheer applications to turn in, please deliver that to Mrs Rose in Room 418, before the end of the day today. 

And, if you're interested but haven't picked up an application yet, please stop by and see Mrs Rose today.

FMS Production Theatre proudly presents two one act plays on Monday February 10th at 6pm. We will start the evening with the show “Oz.” Oz is a retelling of “The Wizard of Oz,”  and it is a hilarious and heart-wrenching story of grief and perseverance on the road to acceptance.

The second performance is our UIL one act show "The Women of Lockerbie.” “The Women of Lockerbie” is inspired by the crash of Pan Am flight 103 in 1988, and tells the true life story of the women of Lockerbie, Scotland who convert an act of hatred into an act of love.

Purchase your tickets now from Mrs. King-adult tickets are $5 and student tickets are $3. Hope you will join us for the shows!


Go Red Daily Announcements – Monday – Wednesday 2/10-13.

Did you know that Heart Disease is the Number 1 killer of women?

February is American Heart Month. Forestwood is joining forces with the American Heart Association to get the word out and help the women live long and healthy lives. It’s called Go Red for Women.

Show your support by

- Taking the Hands Only CPR class on Thursday, February 13th in the Library –Sign-up sheet is outside Nurse Jane’s office.

- Wearing red on Valentine’s Day, Friday February 14th. We’ll take a picture of all those wearing red.

- Donating to the American Heart Association – See Nurse Jane to make a donation or purchase pins and t-shirts.

- Visiting the American Heart Association website for information on heart healthy lifestyles
