Cursive Club will meet tomorrow Tuesday December 4th at 8:15 am. If you're interested in learning how to write cursive or you want to improve your cursive handwriting, join us in room 113 tomorrow morning at 8:15 am.

Attention Calligraphy Club members! We are going to be starting our new campus activity very soon. Please attend the next official Calligraphy Club meeting on Friday December 7th at 8:15 in room 417. We are going to brainstorm about this special activity and find ways that we can support our school while practicing our lettering techniques. See you Friday morning!

The Buy One Get One Book Fair at the library runs through Friday at lunch. For every item you buy, you get one the same price or less for free! Stop by and get some great books! We even have a wrapping station if you're buying items as gifts. Season's Readings!

The annual Forestwood Spelling Bee will be held on Monday December 10th, in the library. Any student interested in participating should sign up with Mrs Holden in room 414 by December 4th.

Would you like to see one of your teachers dressed up as a Christmas Tree or an Angel? If so, NJHS is collecting money before school, and during Advisory. The cost is 50 cents per ballot. If you donate $5, you get an extra vote! Make sure to put your votes in so you can see the teacher of your choice dressed up!!!

Forestwood - 'tis the season for our annual holiday door decorating contest! Starting December 3rd through the 13th, work with your Advisory teacher and class to come up with a fun, festive and creative theme. Doors will be judged on Friday December 14th, during 1st period. The Advisory class with the best decorations will win a pizza party! Start planning now and may the best door win!

Hey Forestwood! It's Takeout Tuesday! Tonight is Spirit Night at Chipotle on Long Prairie, from 5 to 9PM. Take your family out to dinner and mention Forestwood when you order. Your Forestwood PTA thanks you!

Attention Chess Players: AT tomorrow morning's Chess Club meeting, we will discuss how to try out for the UIL chess puzzles team. Whether you've been coming to Chess Club or not, please try to make it tomorrow if you're interested in the UIL team. See Mrs Lewallen in Room 415 for more info.

Are you great at speaking in front of a crowd?  Do you love to talk randomly about various topics, and enjoy driving your teachers and parents crazy with your gift of conversation?  Do you enjoy reading a story out loud?  If so, Mrs. Rose is putting together her UIL Teams for Impromptu Speaking and Oral Reading. There will be a meeting on Friday morning at 8:15 in Room 418, Mrs. Rose’s Room, if you are interested in finding out more about these categories for UIL Competition.  If for some reason you cannot attend on Friday, please stop by Room 418 and speak with Mrs. Rose.
