I want to thank everyone who came out to support Hispanic Heritage Night. What a great turnout. Our students did phenomenal in all of their performances and presentations. A special thanks to Mr. De La Pena for being our guest speaker. It was a wonderful night of singing, dancing, food, and fun.
Tomorrow, October 9th is Block out the Panthers spirit day. Students are allowed to wear sunglasses.

We have 750 iPads checked out to students on our campus. We are asking this week that each student bring their iPads to school fully charged to prepare them for the upcoming STAAR interim assessment this coming Friday. They will need an iPad to take the assessment. We are also asking that they bring their own earphones or earbuds.
On Friday, Oct. 12, all students grades 6th-8th will be completing a STAAR interim assessment in math and reading. Students will have to take the test online.
Friday is an early release day. Students will get out of school at 1:00. It will also be the end of the 1st nine weeks. It is important to check your student’s grades. Grades will be marked complete the following Monday.
