PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Garden Ridge Elementary students led the Pledge of Allegiance and Texas pledge.
RECOGNITIONS
The Marcus High School Boys Water Polo team capped off an impressive season by earning the silver medal in their second appearance at the UIL 6-A State Water Polo Championship.
Flower Mound High School Girls Cross Country team continues to re-write record books with a dominating win at the UIL 6-A State Championship Meet to claim the state championship with a combined score of 47, becoming the first 6-A program in history with five straight titles.
The Board honored employees and recognized their dedicated service to our students, their colleagues and the communities we serve. Together, this exceptional group has collectively devoted over 3,000 years of service to LISD. Their commitment to public education enriches lives and shapes futures, and for this, LISD is beyond grateful.
SUPERINTENDENT UPDATE
As a part of her update, Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp discussed Veterans Day celebrations across the district, the LISD sweep of the Bands of America Super Regional Championship, and the Collin College Policy Summit. She thanked those in Facility Services, and the work and fundraising done by PTA. Dr. Rapp has been meeting with elementary and middle student advisories across the feeders. She met with LISD Special Olympics leaders and other locations in her "Rapp on the Road" initiative. The LISD Adopt an Angel gift program is open through Dec. 6. She also encouraged people to Recognize SomeONE.

The Board approved a one-time payment to LISD employees, the First Amended and Restated Interlocal Cooperation Agreement, the Agreement for the Purchase of Attendance Credit and Delegate Contractual Authority to the Superintendent, a Resolution Casting the Votes of LISD for Candidates to the Board of Directors of Denton Central Appraisal District, and a Resolution Casting the Votes of LISD for Candidates to the Board of Directors of Tarrant Appraisal District.
