Vaccine Info for 6th Graders

Attention all ACMS parents of 6th graders:

The law requires that 11 year old students must receive the Meningococcal vaccine and a TDAP booster vaccine and provide a record to their school before entering 7th grade!  If a record of these vaccines is not received before the summer break, the school will be holding their 7th-grade class schedule at Eagles Camp, and they will not be allowed to begin 7th grade until compliant.  HOWEVER, to avoid having to hold any schedules at Eagles Camp this year we are offering an incentive to the students.  Your student will earn outdoor free-play on the morning of Tuesday, May 21st if they hand in their vaccines before that date!

Most students have already been vaccinated at their 11 year wellness visit so please have your provider's office fax their vaccines to the number below.  If you think you may have already turned them in, you can log into Skyward  (using your parent access account) and click the “Health Info” tab and check if those vaccines are listed.

If your child is in need of these vaccinations, here are some places that can get your student current.  Most accept walk-in appointments and have weekend hours.  Click the links below for more details.  Please be sure to bring your child’s latest vaccine record to the appointment!
