Friday Dec 14th the 26th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Contest ENDS
Art, Essay, and Photography competition involved with the Dr. King Celebration on Monday, January 21, 2019. This is a wonderful opportunity for your students to learn more about Dr. King’s Legacy and possibly win some prize money. It would be wonderful to have students from each and every campus participate. This could be a class assignment, extra credit, or just for fun.
The theme this year is Loving the Diversity in Our World While participation is not required, it is very relevant and timely. Please help by encouraging your students to consider entering one of the contest. All of the requirements and parameters are explained in the attached fliers.
This will culminate with a wonderful event celebrating Dr. King and his legacy at Marcus High School on Monday, January 21, 2019. The winning students’ art and photography will be displayed in the foyer of the auditorium. The essay winners will be recognized during the celebration as well. The deadline for entry is Friday, December 14, 2018. All entries must be turned in at the Lewisville Administration Building, Room 260. Thank you for your help and support with this event.
