Valley Ridge Elementary Honoring Legacy of Late Teacher Sessions

logo Valley Ridge Elementary is honoring the legacy of late teacher Ashley Sessions by raising money to go toward a Lewisville ISD Education Foundation scholarship in her name. VRE has set a goal of $10,000 for the scholarship that will be awarded each year to a graduating Lewisville High School student that attended its school.

“We feel so blessed by the overwhelming support of the community for #cantstopsessions,” VRE Principal Rachel Garrett said. “Ashley was a devoted teacher whose legacy will continue through this scholarship.”

 

Sessions taught kindergarten and 1st grade at VRE for 10 years. She is survived by her husband, Mike; children Daphne, Laurel and Wyatt; parents, Neal and Sissy Laird; and in-laws Mike and Becky Sessions.
