Valley Ridge Elementary Honoring Legacy of Late Teacher Sessions
Valley Ridge Elementary is honoring the legacy of late teacher Ashley Sessions by raising money to go toward a Lewisville ISD Education Foundation scholarship in her name. VRE has set a goal of $10,000 for the scholarship that will be awarded each year to a graduating Lewisville High School student that attended its school.

Sessions taught kindergarten and 1st grade at VRE for 10 years. She is survived by her husband, Mike; children Daphne, Laurel and Wyatt; parents, Neal and Sissy Laird; and in-laws Mike and Becky Sessions.
