PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND TEXAS PLEDGE
 
Students from Camey Elementary assisted in leading the Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas Pledge.

PERSONNEL APPOINTMENTS

The Board approved the hiring of three new principals: Lewisville High School Killough, Kyndra Tyler; Lakeland Elementary, Vanesa Asbun; and Lillie J. Jackson Early Childhood Center, Virginia Gwyn. Learn more here.
 
AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS

Students from Flower Mound, Hebron, Marcus, and The Colony High Schools recently earned several state awards at the 2019 Texas Academic Decathlon. Watch the Board recognition video here

Hebron High School film students were recognized for winning the UIL State Championship Title for the Young Filmmakers Festival. Watch the Board recognition video here

Degan Elementary was recognized for being named the Learning Forward Texas Campus of Excellence in Professional Learning.
