Webb Named New Creek Valley Middle School Principal
July 14, 2017 - Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) announced July 14 the appointment of Steffanie Webb as the new principal of Creek Valley Middle School.
"Creek Valley Middle School is gaining a great leader in Steffanie Webb, as she comes home to the Creek Valley community," LISD Chief Schools Officer Dr. Joseph Coburn said. "Mrs. Webb possesses an innovative mind, a love of learning, and a servant's heart. The Wildcats are in great hands, and the future looks very bright."
Webb has served as assistant principal at B. B. Owen Elementary School since 2012. She was part of the Creek Valley staff from 2006 to 2012, serving as a math teacher and department chair, data coach and testing coordinator. She began her career in education in Richardson ISD in 2004.
"I am thrilled to be returning to Creek Valley as principal," Webb said. "CVMS holds a very special place in my heart and I am excited to work with the staff, students and parents of the Wildcat community to provide learning experiences that are innovative, inclusive and inspiring for all learners. I appreciate the opportunity to serve Creek Valley and promote an environment that allows our students to grow into successful, productive members of our community."
Webb has experience in private business, working as a store manager and district trainer from 1990-1999, before embarking on her journey as an educator.
Webb is a graduate of Texas Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, and of the University of North Texas, where she was awarded a Masters degree in education administration.
Steffanie and her husband Kevin have been married for 23 years. They have three children: Chris (20) a graduate of Hebron High School who is currently studying architecture at the University of Texas at Austin; Kathryn (16) a junior at Hebron; and Nicholas (7) a second grader at Indian Creek Elementary.
