The Lewisville Independent School District Board of Trustees met for the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Monday, June 12th.

  • The Board deliberated on security devices or security audits.

 

RECOGNITIONS
Students from Flower Mound HS, Hebron HS and Lewisville HS were recognized for their performance at the 2023 UIL Academic State Meet.

SUPERINTENDENT UPDATE
As a part of her update, Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp discussed the advocacy work herself and LISD staff is focused on. She highlighted the inaugural Student Leadership Workshop and readership data for her newsletters, and also congratulated the graduates from the Class of 2023. Lastly, Dr. Rapp previewed the Be The One theme for the 2023-24 school year. 

 

PUBLIC COMMENT
Community members from Frisco brought forth a petition to have their neighborhood’s school district zoning changed.

INFORMATION ITEMS 
Chief Human Resource Officer Sheila Smith presented the 2023-24 Compensation and Benefits Plan Update. Details

Chief Executive Director Accountability & Evaluation Dr. Sarah Fitzhugh presented a Student Learning Update. Details

Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp gave a One Vision Task Force Update. Details

 

DISCUSSION ITEMS 
Chief Financial Officer Paige Meloni presented the Monthly Financial Reports including the Bond Reports and the Monthly Investment Summaries. Details

ACTION ITEMS
The Board approved ES and MS Health Curriculum. Details 

The Board granted Superintendent Authority to hire principals and other contractual personnel in salary schedules AP69 and above until the next regularly scheduled board meeting. Details
