Lewisville ISD announced the appointment of Dr. Christine Hinkle as the new principal of Castle Hills Elementary. Prior to joining LISD, Dr. Hinkle served as an elementary principal in California before moving to Marcus High School as an assistant principal in 2020.
“I am honored and privileged to join the Dragon family as the new principal at Castle Hills Elementary,” Dr. Hinkle said. “I look forward to serving the students, staff, families and community while continuing to build a love for learning for the students at Castle Hills.”
Dr. Hinkle has served in education for 22 years, with the last two years having been right here in LISD. Over the last 14 years, she has held various roles in campus administration, including high school assistant principal and elementary school principal in California before moving to Texas and joining Marcus High School as an assistant principal in 2020. She began her educational career teaching health and fitness courses during her graduate studies in 2000 and taught Spanish for six years before moving into campus administration.
“Dr. Hinkle brings a wealth of experience to this role, from her previous experience as an elementary principal to her years-long educational experience at different grade levels,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lori Rapp said. “I am excited to see what new heights the students and staff at Castle Hills achieve under her leadership.”
Dr. Hinkle received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Kinesiology from California State University Fullerton. She earned her Ed.D in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University.
