Lewisville ISD announced on June 13 the appointment of Ms. Tracy Rehfuss as the new principal of Hicks Elementary. Rehfuss currently serves as an assistant principal at Hicks, a position she’s held since 2017.
“I am thrilled and honored to stay with the Timberwolves family as the new principal at Hicks Elementary,” Ms. Rehfuss said. “I look forward to continuing to serve the great students, staff, families and community in the role of principal, while continuing to encourage students and staff as they grow and excel.”
Rehfuss is entering her 13th year in education - all of which have been right here in LISD. She started her educational career as a teacher at Hebron Valley Elementary from 2010-17 before moving over to an administrative role at Hicks as assistant principal.
“Ms. Rehfuss is a passionate and committed leader,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lori Rapp said. “I have no doubt the students and staff of Hicks will continue to excel under her leadership.”
Rehfuss received her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications Media Management from Miami (OH) University and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Texas Woman’s University.
