The school year has officially begun! Today marked the first day of the 2022-23 school year for Lewisville ISD. We had a great day of celebrating students and teachers as they embark on a new year!
Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp made her way around the district, visiting campuses throughout the day. These campuses were home to new principals, who were excited to show Dr. Rapp around their schools. She helped out with carpool lines, gave out high-fives and encouraged students and teachers with warm wishes.
As students got settled into their new classrooms the sounds of learning, and laughter, filled the halls.
“It was a great day for this district,” said Dr. Rapp. “I can already tell that this is going to be a great school year.”
