Lillie J. Jackson Early Childhood Center students Emma Zhao and Ryder Wall, teacher Laura Webb and the school, were all recgonized by the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce at the chamber's monthly luncheon.
STUDENT OF THE MONTH | EMMA ZHAO
Lillie J. Jackson Early Childhood Center student Emma Zhao was recognized as the Lewisville Chamber Student of the Month. According to her teachers, Emma makes her class sparkle and shine with her love of learning. Emma's personality is calm, and she is a friend to all. Her ability to make light of every situation and always looks for the good in everyone. It is not a surprise that she loves the library because she looks forward to taking books home to read with her family! She has come so far this year. She started the year reluctant and shy. She has now become so full of joy and outgoing. We are very proud of the learner and friend that Emma has become.
EXCEPTIONAL STUDENT OF THE MONTH | RYDER WALL
Lillie J. Jackson Early Childhood Center student Ryder Wall was recognized as the Lewisville Chamber Student of the Month. According to Ryder’s teachers, he is nothing short of special. He may be small, but that doesn’t stop him! He always attempts things even when they are hard. He doesn't let anything get him down and goes to the beat of his own drum. He is quick to help a friend or teacher and is curious about everyone and everything around him. Ryder’s personality brings joy to everyone around him. Whether it’s saying “look! I did it!” with a huge grin, making a silly joke, running quickly to greet with hugs, or exploring all that is around him, he exudes sunshine! He is inquisitive, curious, and takes risks. Ryder's inquisitive spirit has been integral to how quickly he is growing in all areas. He is a prime example of a student who is and will continue to be more than anyone could imagine! In the words of Dr. Seuss “Kid, YOU’LL move mountains!”
TEACHER OF THE MONTH | LAURA WEBB
Lillie J. Jackson Early Childhood teacher Laura Webb was recognized as the Lewisville Chamber Teacher of the Month. According to her principal Virginia Gwyn, Mrs. Webb is one of the school’s outstanding Early Childhood Special Education teachers. She works in a bilingual co-teach classroom. Even though she doesn’t speak Spanish, Mrs. Webb is able to build meaningful relationships with all her students. Mrs. Webb comes to work every day with a smile on her face and the determination to do what is best for students. She is always willing to help in any way that she can. She thinks deeply about how to serve her students and to support her classroom. Mrs. Webb is a strong collaborator and team member. Lillie J. Jackson is lucky to have Mrs. Webb as part of the family.

Lillie J. Jackson Early Childhood Center was recognized as the Lewisville Chamber School of the Month. Each person that is part of the Lillie learning organization has a heart for kids. The district’s littlest, most at-risk learners come to Lillie J., and it is the passion of all staff members to nurture the love and curiosity of learning for all students. The mission of Lillie J. is to implement a learning organization that ensures all students are nurtured emotionally, socially, behaviorally, and academically. Through a collaborative culture, the Lillie J. staff work closely together to provide innovative learning opportunities through purposeful play and structured learning. Lillie J. currently serves 475 3- and 4-year-old students from many different backgrounds, cultures and languages. At Lillie J. Jackson, they like to consider themselves the Pre-K Disneyland of Lewisville ISD.
