MARCUS HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING 2022

Marauders host annual carnival, pep rally and football game for alumni and community.

Marcus High School celebrated its 2022 Homecoming Week Oct. 10-14. 

Fun dress-up days centered around this year's homecoming theme, “Homecoming Roadtrip.” On Tuesday, students were encouraged to don their best Florida beachwear, Wednesday was California (celebrity) day, Thursday students were ready to hit the slopes in Colorado gear, and the week wrapped up with mum/garter day and pink out on Friday. 

Wednesday night, following the annual homecoming carnival, members of the homecoming court were recognized at the community pep rally and the king and queen finalists were announced. The 2022 MHS homecoming court was made up of the following students:

Prior to Friday night's game, Riley Letterman and Ally Horton were named king and queen, respectively. 

As part of Marcus High School's pink out game, members of the MHS community were invited to recognize individuals that have been impacted by breast cancer. 

Six MHS alumni were inducted into the Marcus Hall of Fame on Friday night. Dan Jaworski, Megan Racca, Chris Sanders, Dorrie Loughborough, Dallas Miles and Kelly Sudderth were recognized for the impact that each has had on their community.

The Marauders defeated Plano West 42-20 to move to 4-3 overall and 3-1 in district play.
