Highland Village Elementary School students were ready to take the STAAR test after a high-energy afternoon earlier this month. The students were invited to a STAAR Spectacular, where band members from Marcus HS and Briarhill HS performed for the students and pumped them up for their upcoming testing. Teachers dressed up in different costumes, and the students even walked down a "red carpet" to further the fun.
