Voters Approve May 4 Bond Election
Preliminary election results show that Lewisville ISD voters approved all three bond propositions in the district's $101,834,000 bond referendum.
“I am extremely grateful for the support the LISD community has shown through the approval of these bond proposals,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lori Rapp said. “The student experience is a cornerstone of the educational journey in Lewisville ISD, and we are committed to providing exceptional environments where our students can thrive and adapt for their future.”
LISD stakeholders have a long history of making their voices heard and showing their support of our schools, helping us sustain premier learning environments and student experiences throughout Lewisville ISD.”
The approved bond proposals will fund maintenance, repairs and life cycle improvements at various athletics and recreation facilities; the district’s two existing aquatic centers; and all existing stadiums at all five high schools. “The resources approved in this election are not only an investment in the present, but in future generations in LISD,” LISD Board President Jenny Proznik said. “We take our fiscal responsibility very seriously and are dedicated to allocating these funds as wisely and efficiently as possible, while at the same time evaluating the tax rate each year to ensure it is as low as possible.”
