Roberson Named Principal of Coyote Ridge Elementary
Lewisville ISD announced the appointment of Erica Roberson as the new principal of Coyote Ridge Elementary. Roberson currently serves as an assistant principal at The STEM Academy at Creek Valley Middle School.
“I am humbled to serve the Coyote Ridge Elementary community as principal,” Roberson said. “I am looking forward to establishing great relationships with the staff, and partnering with the families and community to continue exceptional learning environments for all students.”
Roberson began her career in public education in LISD in 2009, teaching social studies at LISD’s Night High School. She then taught world geography and history at Lewisville High School Harmon 9th/10th Grade Campus before moving into campus administration as an assistant principal at Lakeview Middle School in 2014. She has been serving as an assistant principal at the LISD STEM Academy at Creek Valley Middle School since 2017.
During her time as a campus administrator, she led professional development and instructional meetings, managed testing and tutorial coordination, and facilitated staff growth. She supervised daily operations, oversaw key programs such as Response to Intervention (RtI) and English as a Second Language (ESL), and served as a liaison between the district and campus, piloting new initiatives to enhance school excellence.
“Ms. Roberson is an excellent campus leader and I am excited for her to continue the great traditions established at Coyote Ridge,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lori Rapp said. “I look forward to seeing what heights the students and staff achieve under her leadership.”
Roberson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Ball State University and her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. She was also a finalist for LISD Assistant Principal of the Year in 2022.
