Castle Hills Elementary’s Danielle Stempel Named Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce/Huffines Auto Dealership March Teacher of the Month
March 26, 2019 — Danielle Stempel of Castle Hills Elementary has been selected as the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce/Huffines Auto Dealership-Lewisville March Teacher of the Month — the seventh honoree of the 2018-2019 school year.
Those who know Stempel best say she is passionate about putting all students first and that she has the biggest heart for her students with special needs. Stempel has developed a great rapport with her colleagues, and as the school’s Special Education lead, she served as a mentor for CHE’s two new special education teachers this year. She is described as a patient and kind person as well as an excellent communicator. Stempel knows each of her students, their strengths and their areas needing help. She goes above and beyond to serve her students, and her principal says Stempel is a jewel.
“I am truly humbled and grateful to be recognized by the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce as the Teacher of the Month,” Stempel said. “I truly strive to do my best for my kids and colleagues. This recognition highlights my efforts.”
Stempel accepted the award March 26 at the Chamber’s partnership luncheon held at Bridlewood Golf Club. Huffines Auto Dealership-Lewisville Business Relations Director Fred Whitfield and Chamber Board Chair-Elect Ann Pape made the presentation. Stempel was joined at the luncheon by CHE Principal Donna Taylor.
