Worden Named Principal of Castle Hills Elementary
Lewisville ISD announced the appointment of Lee Worden as the new principal of Castle Hills Elementary. Worden currently serves as an assistant principal at Wellington Elementary.
“I am honored to continue to serve in this great district as the new principal at Castle Hills,” Worden said. “I look forward to continuing to build a love for learning for the students in this wonderful community.”
Worden began her career in public education in LISD in 2009 teaching special education at Peters Colony and Parkway Elementary. In 2016 she moved into campus administration where she has served as an assistant principal for Garden Ridge Elementary and Wellington Elementary.
During her time as a campus administrator, Worden led professional development for staff focused on making-data driven instructional decisions, increased student performance in iStation reading and math, enhanced community engagement through student-led curriculum events, and initiated student and staff campus recognition programs.
“Ms. Worden is a proven leader and committed to collaborating with staff to support innovative learning experiences for all students,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lori Rapp said. “I have no doubt Castle Hills will continue its traditions of excellence under her leadership.”
She received her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and her Master of Education in Educational Administration from Concordia University. Worden has been nominated for LISD Assistant Principal of the Year in 24’, 23’, 22’, 19’ and 18’. She was also selected as the Texas School Counselors Association Counselor Advocate of the Year in 2020. Worden attended school in LISD as a student herself and is proud to continue to serve the LISD community.
