District Efficiency Update
District leaders recently shared recommendations with the LISD Board of Trustees for campus retirements and/or boundary adjustments to review further based on the Community Efficiency Committee (CEC) findings as part of our effort to increase facility efficiency across the district.
No final decisions have been made. The Board anticipates final determinations will be made by this December and will take effect for the 2025-26 school year.
The next phase of this process includes a series of feedback meetings for each of the five feeder patterns within LISD. The dates for each of the meetings is below. These are public meetings that can be attended by anyone. Details for these meetings including how the meetings will be conducted, and how to sign up to share remarks, are on the website.
Proposals for campus retirements and boundary adjustments for each feeder pattern will be available the week of Nov. 4.
