See The Refreshed Entryways at FMHS and HHS
First impressions matter, including those of our campuses here at LISD. At Flower Mound High School and Hebron High School – this first impression got an upgrade with a refresh of their entryways earlier this year.
In 2017, Lewisville ISD voters passed a bond referendum with nearly 63 percent of voters in favor of the bond. Included in the bond package were 20-year refreshes for both Flower Mound High School and Hebron High School. While the work for these refreshes is still ongoing, the improved entryways at both campuses have already brightened the spaces.
“The new entryway has meant so much to our campus and the community," said Hebron High School Principal Amy Boughton. "It is the first impression and sets the tone for our students, parents, and the larger community. A grand entrance invites you to come in and start your journey. I believe the refresh of our entry says, ‘We Are Hebron’, we are welcoming, innovative, diverse, and we want you to feel the essence of positive energy and the intrigue to see more as you walk up."
In parallel with these refreshes was a 2019 district-wide safety update. This update included video doorbells, controlled access points, keyless door vestibules to both front offices and more. With these safety improvements and the revamped entryways, HHS and FMHS continue to serve as outstanding learning environments to cultivate student success.
