Lewisville ISD Families and Communities, 

Last week was one of the best starts to a school year that I can remember, and I have been through 27 of them in LISD! Our incredible staff members were excited to greet students and families, and I saw so many smiling faces from staff, students and families alike! 

You may have noticed yesterday the Texas Education Agency released its annual ratings of schools. Our district has long believed scores on standardized tests do not define a student or a school, but serve as one piece of information in a much larger academic picture. 

The work of our campus staff throughout the last couple of years with COVID has ensured that our students are making important strides in their learning for all grade levels, and their constant dedication to the success of our students is something we are very proud of each and every day! With that in mind, I want to be sure you know about our campus profiles, which we believe offer a much more complete overview of the achievements of our students, staff and campuses.
