My name is Janet Dever. I am a graduate of Auburn University, and this will be my 18th year teaching fourth grade. I have experience teaching in both private and public schools and even had two precious years at home with my children in between. I am proud to say that this is my thirteenth year with LISD and at Donald Elementary. My passion is teaching and especially reading and Texas History. I just cannot learn enough!
My husband and I have been married for twenty years and are the proud parents of THREE freshman daughters (currently attending OU & FMHS) and two very spoiled dogs. I have personally lived in 11 of the 50 states, but I happily plan to stay in Texas forever!
A few of my favorite things include: teaching, reading, college football, crafting, spending time traveling with my family, and exploring ways to bring meaningful and innovative technology into our classroom.
I am looking forward to wonderful experiences this year!
