Durham Middle School

While Durham Middle School received a D rating, they will implement and monitor the progress of the Turnaround plan developed in the 2025-26 school year as part of the school improvement process required by the TEA. While this rating does not reflect the dedication, hard work, and heart that our students, staff, and families bring every day, it does require us to take specific steps to strengthen student learning and growth. 

Family involvement is a key part of this process. Research shows that students achieve more when schools and families work in partnership. We encourage parents and guardians to stay engaged, participate in school activities, and support student learning at home. Family involvement helps ensure students stay motivated, take ownership of their education, and reach their full potential.
