Election Resources
Every election, from school board to the presidential ballot, is a chance to make your voice heard. These resources will help LISD families and staff get registered, find their ballot and get to the polls.
Before you vote
-
Make sure you're registered
Check your registration status (opens in a new window) or get a voter registration application (opens in a new window).
-
Check which districts you live in
District boundaries can change after redistricting, so your races may be different from the last election. Look up your sample ballot by county.
-
Learn about your candidates
Take time to research the candidates on your ballot. See who's running (opens in a new window).
-
Vote
Your vote is your voice. Check your county's elections website for early voting dates, times and locations.
-
Vote together
Encourage your friends, family and colleagues to vote, too, and help build a culture of voting in every election.
Find your ballot and polling locations
LISD serves families in four counties. Your county elections office posts sample ballots, early voting schedules and polling locations for each election.
