Parent Information Sessions
Attend a Parent Information Session for more information about Discovery Academy.
Parents are welcome to attend any of the offered information meetings to learn about Discovery Academy, regardless of the campus.
2026-27 in-person and virtual parent information meetings will be hosted during the initial application window following the schedule below.
- Forest Vista Elementary - January 15; 5:00 - 6:00 PM - In Person at Forest Vista
- Heritage Elementary - January 22; 5:00 - 6:00 PM - In Person at Heritage
- Liberty Elementary - February 3; 5:00 - 6:00 PM - In Person at Liberty
- Lillie J Jackson - February 5; 5:00 - 6:00 PM - In Person at Lillie J. Jackson
- Memorial Elementary - February 2; 5:00 - 6:00 PM - In Person at Memorial
- Timber Creek Elementary - February 10; 5:00 - 6:00 PM - In Person at Timber Creek
2026-27 General Virtual Discovery Academy Parent Info Meeting dates & times
- February 6 at 4:30 - 5:30 PM VIRTUAL
- Virtual DA parent info meetings will take place via Webex.
- Sign up HERE to attend a Virtual Discovery Academy Parent Info Meeting. The link to the virtual meeting room will be emailed to you.
The 2026-27 Discovery Academy application window is January 9 - February 13, 2026. Families who submit a 2026-27 Discovery Academy Application will be notified of their selection status on Feb. 20, 2026 by 5 PM.
2026-27 Discovery Academy classes are located at:
- Forest Vista Elementary School (one DA class)
- Heritage Elementary School (three DA classes)
- Liberty Elementary School (two DA classes)
- Lillie J Jackson Early Childhood Center (two DA classes)
- Memorial STEM Academy (two DA classes)
- Timber Creek Elementary School (one DA class)
