2026-27 Discovery Academy Waiting List Application

 The 2026-27 Discovery Academy application closed February 13, 2026 and initial applicants received an email notification about their selection status on February 20, at 5 PM.  A waiting list application of unselected applications is being maintained as spots may come open at any time after the initial selection. 

The Discovery Academy Waiting List application linked above allows new applicants to add their child to the current 2026-27 Discovery Academy waiting list.

The LISD Discovery Academy is an exclusive, tuition-based prekindergarten program for families in Lewisville ISD offering full-day Pre-K with extended, before and after school, hours (6:50 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) and an extended calendar of days taught by a certified teacher and paraprofessional.

2026-27 Discovery Academy classes are located at:

• Forest Vista Elementary School (one DA class)
• Heritage Elementary School (three DA classes)
• Liberty Elementary School (two DA classes)
• Lillie J Jackson Early Childhood Center (two DA classes) 
• Memorial STEM Academy (two DA classes)
• Timber Creek Elementary School (one DA class)  

Students must be 3 or 4 years old on/before September 1 of the enrolling school year and fully potty-trained to participate in Discovery Academy.
