 Trade Credit Requirements 2026 - 2027

All LISD staff must earn trade credit over the course of the year from May 26 - March 31. The trade credit hours are in exchange for paid professional learning days that staff have off based on contract dates (August 3, November 23 and 24).

• All teachers/instructional professional staff must complete 6 hours before or on August 3: Skyward (3hrs) and Required Content Learning (3hrs) (August Trade Credit). You must also complete 12 additional trade credit hours before March 31, 2026 (Nov Trade Credit)
• All LISD staff must complete 12 hours of learning outside of contract hours for the two paid professional learning days on the calendar for the first two days of Thanksgiving break. This is the November trade credit.
