College Courses in High School

High school students interested in college as a future pathway should consider selecting Advanced Placement (AP), Dual Credit, or College Preparatory courses in their high school course selection.  These courses offer students the opportunity to engage in college and pre-college level coursework while enrolled at their home campus.

To demonstrate college readiness (CCMR) with a college-level course taken in high school, students must complete one of the following:

• Earn a score of 3 or higher on any AP exam
• Earn 3 hours of Dual Credit in English or Math
• Earn 9 hours of Dual Credit in any subject other than English or Math
• Earn high school credit in College Prep English and College Math
