CTE Opportunities in LISD

LISD provides opportunities for students to earn Career Readiness through our two state-of-the-art career centers, TECC-East and TECC-West, as well as at the main high school campuses. Opportunities to begin a CTE Program of Study can begin as early as middle school.

The Course Description Guide functions as a comprehensive catalog for middle and high school students, parents, and educators to explore available courses, academic pathways, prerequisites, and graduation requirements. The platform helps families plan academic schedules and prepare students for post-secondary education or future career paths. is a resource  have been created that showcase the program available on each campus as well as the career centers.  When accessing the guides, the table of contents will take you to specific programs of interest.
