Results
Lewisville ISD voters re-elected incumbent Allison Lassahn for Place 2, and elected former LISD administrator Dr. Buddy Bonner for Place 1 to serve on the Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees. The election was held May 1.
The unofficial results for Denton and Tarrant counties are as follows:
Place 1:
- Dr. Buddy Bonner | Denton County: 9,185 votes, Tarrant County: 12 votes
- Total Votes: 9,197
- Paige Dixon | Denton County: 7,069 total votes, Tarrant County: 16 votes
- Total Votes: 7,085
Place 2:
- Allison Lassahn | Denton County: 8,092 total votes, Tarrant County: 15 votes
- Total Votes: 8,107
- Sheila P. Taylor | Denton County: 7,575 total votes, Tarrant County: 14 votes
- Total Votes: 7,589
The election is scheduled to be canvassed at the May 10, 2021 LISD board meeting, after which the results will be official.

About the Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected to serve for overlapping terms of three years each. Elections are conducted in May in accordance with the Texas Secretary of State Uniform Election Calendar. While candidates run for specific places, they do not represent specific geographical areas; rather, each represents Lewisville ISD at large.
