Early voting for the election took place between April 22-30, with Election Day voting taking place on May 4. The last day to register to vote in the election was April 4. Registered voters in LISD boundaries vote in the LISD Board of Trustees election. Other ballot items will varied by city/county.

About the Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected to serve for overlapping terms of three years each. Elections are conducted in May in accordance with the Texas Secretary of State Uniform Election Calendar. While candidates run for specific places, they do not represent specific geographical areas; rather, each represents Lewisville ISD at large.
In May of 2019, Places 3, 4, and 5 will be on the ballot. - Policy BBB(LOCAL)
Application Process
- Anyone may pick up a candidate packet from Lewisville ISD at 1565 W. Main St, Lewisville, TX 75067. Packets will be available for pickup beginning January 16, 2019.
- Completed forms must be filed in the Superintendent’s Office no later than Friday, February 15, 2019 at 5 p.m.
