Interventionist

Special Education Interventionists provide expert assistance and support students and campuses in several ways. Student-specific Interventionists assist students, teachers, administrators, and ARD committees by observing, modeling, training, providing feedback, collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating on functional behehavioral assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students whose behavior interferes with his/her learning or the learning of others. Program support Interventionists support students, teachers, administrators and ARD committees by observing, consulting, collecting and analyzing data, training, and providing feedback to help ensure that students are receiving the instruction that is appropriate to their individual and unique needs.
