The Accounting & Budgeting Department is responsible for the financial accounting and budgeting of all district funds.

The Lewisville ISD Accounting & Budgeting Department has received the following awards:

• 1999-2020 Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the Comprehensive  Annual Financial Report presented by The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA)

• 2002-2020 "Superior Achievement" rating under Texas' Schools FIRST financial accountability rating system; 2014 "Pass" rating under Texas' Schools FIRST financial accountability revised "Pass/Fail" rating system
