Dale Jackson Career Center

DJCC Retired Banner

Lewisville ISD's Dale Jackson Career Center opened its doors in 1985 when Clayton Downing was superintendent of schools. It built a reputation as one of the state's premier career and technology centers. From auto collision repair and computer programming to cosmetology and welding, DJCC made a name for itself with course offerings not often found in public education.

The center was open from 1985-2020. Students who previously attended Dale Jackson were rezoned to TECC-West, which opened in 2020. The building is now in use by LISD Facility Services. ______ was the campus’s first principal, and Justin Gilbreath was the principal when the decision was made to retire the campus. Kevin Rogers was superintendent of schools at that time.
