Start & End Times Change

The LISD Board of Trustees approved for the 2026-27 school year 10 additional minutes for instructional time for students, aligning LISD's student instructional day from 435 minutes to 445 minutes which is more similar to neighboring districts. Additionally, the Board also approved adjusting the start time order by switching middle school and high school start times beginning next school year.
