LISD Names Yarrobino New Chief Human Resource Officer

Lewisville ISD (LISD) announced Sept. 14 the appointment of Gene Yarrobino as the district’s new Chief Human Resource Officer.

“We are excited to welcome Mr. Yarrobino to Lewisville ISD,” said LISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lori Rapp. “His background in human resource management, as well as his experience in the classroom and in campus leadership, will be a great asset to the district. With LISD recognized in the DFW metroplex for its award-winning company culture, Mr. Yarrobino will play a key role in continuing to foster the ONE LISD culture.”

Yarrobino joins Lewisville ISD from Frisco ISD, where he currently serves as Managing Director of Human Resources, a position he has held since 2023. Yarrobino also served as an elementary school principal in Frisco ISD from 2021-2023.

Yarrobino began his career in public education as an elementary teacher in East Meadow School District in New York. After moving to California in 2003, he taught third and sixth grade in Etiwanda, CA before serving as an elementary assistant principal and principal for ten years.

"Lewisville has a rich history of attracting and supporting exceptional, dedicated educators,” Yarrobino said. “My highest priority is ensuring our students receive the absolute highest level of support, which begins by serving the dedicated staff members who give so much to our team every day. By fostering a supportive and growth-oriented work culture, we empower our staff to do their best work. I am honored to join the LISD family and look forward to carrying this strong commitment forward.”

Yarrobino received his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and his Masters in Computers in Education from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus.
